Fine Filter Bag for Fango 2000, Torpedo and Torpedo Ultra Sludge Vacuum Cleaners - Filter Water Instead of Losing It
The fine filter bag allows filtered water to be returned during pond cleaning, without causing significant water loss in the pond. This keeps your pond's natural water level intact even after cleaning.
The fine filter bag is simply placed at the pond's edge or in the shallow-water/planting zone and connected to the outlet hose of the pond sludge vacuum cleaner. The extracted water is pumped directly into the fine filter bag, where it is filtered to 150 μ. Dirt particles, sludge, and biomass collect on the inside wall of the filter bag, while the filtered water flows back into the pond. The practical, newly integrated zipper makes emptying the filter bag during cleaning quick and easy.
Fine-filtering the pond water plays an important role in preventing algae growth: since less water is lost during extraction, less nutrient-rich top-up water needs to be added. This top-up water often contains phosphate and nitrate, which unintentionally supply algae with nutrients and promote their growth. At the same time, fine filtration removes biomass from the water cycle that would otherwise release additional nutrients as it decomposes - a real benefit for water quality and clear pond water.
